GT(s), 8x Sli and HD Gaming?

Sorry to post another post on the GT! I’ll make it as specific as I can.

I game at 1920x1080

I’ve just sold my GTS 640 (£150)

I’ve got an ‘Asus P5N-E SLI’ which only supports Sli at 8x

Running Vista 64 premium

Whats my best option given the above? I was thinking about Sli’d GT’s but not sure if the 8x would cripple performance?
Wait and see what the new GTS holds?

Any advice (particularly on the 8x Sli) appreciated

I 100% guarentee that an 8x slot will NOT bottleneck an 8800GT.

It will be fine to run two in SLi.

I think thats the right link, shows an 8800gts at 1, 4, 8
+ 16x
