** GT5 Toyota Celica Challenge **

I'm not going to do any better so I'll post my time now.

1:31:804 Pad (as for some strange reason my XBox 360, RIP old friend, steering wheel isn't compatible with the PS3 (as my, superior, 360 controller isn't))

\o/ after a lot of aborted laps, damn track too picky on cutting corners :D, and a bit of transmission tweaking, I've finally beaten Dyson.

Now to try and get a better time.

I think I've just done the best I will be able to do but as I have time before I send the car on I shall have another go after some Uncharted 2.

LOL why do you think i picked it, it's a PITA track thats very unforgiving on lap times if you mess up. Maintaining a good constant speed will be key to winning this plus brushing every kerb without voiding your lap time

elliot send that car over i can get a few runs in around 4pm :)

Ps3udo reccomended making this a 10 day event in the other thread, which would make it easier for everyone to get their go. Instead of finishing midnight next Thursday, we'd close the event at midnight a week sunday. Anyone hate the idea? Don't see a problem myself, don't want to go changing the rules and annoying people.

God, I need to get a 3G dongle for my netbook so I can take it out with me, doing all this on my phone is hard work:D

You never know, just one lucky lap where it all comes together, and at least time we've got a prize for both best wheel and pad. Wont get dominated by those with their full on racing set-ups this time:)

Yeah I guess! I'm really pleased about the two different prizes for pad and wheel, makes it much more fair. :D

I'm gonna send you a car tonight Jimmy, after I've had a bit more time with it, want to get a baseline. We'll have to work out a handycap for you, like a blindfold. ;)
