i would go with the 4890 out of the 2 , but tbh look at the 5770 before you make you mind up as they give gd performance and have dx11 support

Depends on how much you care about DX11 . I would say that the 4890 is substantially better than the 260.

4890 is the fastest.

5770 has more features and runs quieter and cooler and consumes less power. Performance is lower though.

If a new build I would go with the 5770 for future proofing. Get better money when you come to sell in the future or and you could always add a second to beef up performance.

+1 although the 4890 is a very good choice if u just want DX10 and dnt care about power consumption =] also the 5770 is a lot quieter
