Currently looking at the two cards below:
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 570 OC WINDFORCE 3X 1280MB - £280
- Core Clock: 780MHz
- Memory: 1280MB GDDR5
- Memory Clock: 3800MHz (Effective)
- Memory Interface: 320-Bit
- Processing Cores: 480
- Shader Clock: 1690MHz
Asus GeForce GTX 560Ti DirectCU II TOP 1024MB - £200
- Core Clock: 900MHz
- Memory: 1024MB GDDR5
- Memory Clock: 4200MHz (Effective)
- Memory Interface: 256-Bit
- Processing Cores: 384
- Shader Clock: 1800MHz
Is the extra £80 really justifiable in terms of performance gains and would there be a noticeable difference in FPS in GPU intensive games at 1080p?
The fact that free games come with the 560Ti is not a factor in this.
Been out of the loop on GPUs recently and would like to hear some advice.
