Although, I've found AMD drivers to be fine, although CCC's really messed up on me, keeps acting like it's having settings changed constantly with "apply" flashing green every second.

What do you mean no drivers work with new cards? hands up here who is using 12.8 drivers on there 7### cards. i for one, there perfect.

And no one who knows anything about overclocking uses CCC, most don't even bother to install it ;)

ATI are defunct. You didn't get it, nevermind.

And who mentioned overclocking with CCC.
I use CCC for adding AA to games that don't support it, and changing it to Super sampling.
Plus using the AMD video settings to offset my monitors gamma settings.
 
If you're interested in borderlands 2 then go nvidia for physx. I chose 7850 for my stepson knowing he was going for borderlands 2 as his 1st new game and I wish I'd considered this.
