GTX 780 Ti Specifications Leaked – Full Blown Gk110 Core with 2880 SP

I'm hitting the vram limit on my SLI'd 680s in BF4 so do you think the 780Ti is a worthwhile upgrade?

My other options are the more expensive 780 SLI route, or a 290(non x) with an mk-26 which is a lot cheaper and had decent performance. Tough choice

I'm torn. I really want to go tripple 27" screens. Were the "black edition" or whatever 780Tis with 6/12GB of ram mentioned by Nvidia or speculated by someone else?

A 6Gb 780Ti is the perfect card for 7680x1440 and i want one, or two (unless they're 800 quid each >.< )

Hmm it would appear 670 SLI is still a fair bit faster at 1080p. looks like I will be sticking with my 670's until Maxwell/20nm or until 780 ti's are going for sub £300 ( which probably will be when 20nm is released anyway)

O RLY?
Please feel free to read and engage in the discussion happening about the available cards, merits of both and reasons why people choose one over the other.

Dude I was just saying that I was surprised they priced it much more than radeons, not trolling. Which I think it wasn't quite a smart move.

£440 gets you an awesome 290x with 0 games and a pants stock cooler
£550 gets you an awesome 780Ti with 3 games and a great stock cooler.

You are actually getting something for that extra £110 this time around which makes a change for nvidia. The value of them is pretty similar I'd say when you take that into account

Ok, saying it like that sounds well, the stock cooler is great indeed, however I was wondering if all of the cards available have the same cooler?(apart from the evga's) They all show you the stock reference card and the new box :-\

The problem for Nvidia at the high-end is not the 290x, its the 290 underwater

I am thinking, two 290 cards with blocks is going to be very close to both the 290x and 780ti, to the point where its not going to be distinguishable in actual gameplay and the money you save is well worth the 5% performance drop.

Sounds logical when put in those terms ,Jeps :)

Take away the extra performance, better cooler and games and it would be worth the same price as a 290x. Yes,its more expensive but that extra money is getting you extra.....everything :D
