What is the point of having a PCI Expres port if GFX card manufacturers are going to produce cards that cover them up, why don't they put them further down the board!

You think you,ve got it bad, I've got my 7800gtx up for sale and have just noticed the the 7900gtx uses up THREE 
slots on my mobo, 2 for the card it's self and also renders the one below useless b-cos if you use it it's flush against 7900gtx's fan so it gets no air
