Robin Williams is a cool dude. He's been to lots of gaming events too like E3 in the past.
There's probably tons of other famous people who play popular games, I mean gaming in general is pretty huge and common these days.

Nearly all famous sports people seem to be into gaming these days.
Apparently Jermaine Pennant (ex-Liverpool player) was dumped by his girlfriend for his CoD 3 addiction. He would strategically line up fizzy drinks and snacks around the floor of his living room so that wherever he spread out to, he had refreshments at hand.
