Guess How Much A Halo 3 Beta Code Costs? Well according to this auction the code will set you back a staggering five hundred pounds. Yes you heard right, some gamer is willing to give up five hundred quid to simply play Halo 3 four days early. It truly is madness.

A couple of auctions are popping up and all of them are going up to ridiculous amounts of money and we must ask, who in their right mind would be mad enough to give up so much money for such a small thing?

What has the gaming world come to.

Why don't they just go spend £40 on crackdown :confused: hell I got it for £16 last week and that had access to the beta!

Though if some numpty will pay mental money for it i'll stick it on the bay :p
 
Its currently a private beta, with certain people included.

£500 to play a beta 4 days early. Madness.

I hope its worth there money :rolleyes: I hated Halo 1 since it felt like I was running down the same corridors every few mins killing the same enemys over an over :rolleyes: I hope Halo 3 is something special....

If someone was willing to pay they could have my code to play it since I'm not fussed about it at all.
 
Bah, somehow I doubt the winning bidder will complete. I bet the seller received an email shortly after it ended saying they were going to have to retract their bid, and the time it would normally take to follow the bay's procedures for non-paying bidders would mean the beta would be useless anyway.
