in case u missed that monstrosity of a grafx card shoe horned in there, i got me a bfg 8800gtx. sure it cost me and arm, leg and my first bourn, but after running a few benchies and playing a bunch of old and new games. i have achieved nirvana. :) i loaded up fear and maxed out all the goodies and my average framerate was 142. i scored a 15500 in 3d05.
but now i suffer the buyers remorse cause this is all to familer to me back with the 6800ultra. it was big, fast and expensive and after two revisions it was smaller faster and half the price. although it did take over a year to go from the 6800 to the 7900. ahhhh welllllllll.

Eek you got that in a local shop? How much was it if I can be cheeky enough to ask? From a shop the price must have been loads higher than the net...

Nice pur-chase!

Seriously though, clean the dust! Also you should be banned from having a windowed panel with that kind of terrible cable management :D

Must admit, I'm very pleased with the performance coming from a 7800GTX & 7900GTX.

I have the Asus EN8800GTX, and it cost about £440 from a local store, it was more cos it was bought on a c card.

Still a fine beast though, just wish I had time to use it though, instead of working all the time. :(
