AMD is doing much better than I expected in that review. Look at the RX590 against the RTX2060 for instance:

Yep, looks like the VII is slightly faster than the 1080Ti too. And the Vega 56 faster than the 2060 and the Vega 64 faster than the 2070.

Surprising since all the metro games are Nvidia sponsored, no gimping it seems

All Metro games have performed well on the AMD GPUs I have played. The big feature was just PhysX.

Techpowerup got different results with VII slower than RTX 2070 and Vega 56 & Vega 64 slower than RTX 2060 at 1080p.

I wouldn't touch TechpowerUp with a barge pole though. They are nVidia fanboys.

Last Light on release didnt work well on AMD. Had to wait a week or so for a driver update for it to run properly.

If games on PC were optimised as good as console you'd get a GTX1070 playing at a level the RTX2070 could do.

It is exclusive to Epic now, but if you pre-ordered it on Steam, before they removed it, they will honour it
