H&S online courses plus jobsite questions etc

I'm starting to look for a new position which will probably be in Logistics or something so I'll need to be up to date with H&S I think as I've not had any H&S training for absolute ages.
Are any of the online ones 'recognised' and worth doing?
Also, when it comes to job hunting itself is there a best site to register with or just go with all of them?
And how do they actually work, do the recruiters/advertisers really read your CV/Cover Letter or just use tag words or something?
I've never had to do this before so any more pointers on jobsites like how long to wait for a reply, do the jobs really exist etc would be appreciated :)

@JohnnyG you still after advice? Just noticed the date of the OP!

Basically, there are recognised safety courses and in-house courses which tick a box but don’t typically hold much water.

For instance, you could do an IOSH managing safely course which is industry recognised for someone at a supervisory level. There are levels above this and specialisms like fire safety but the next true step up is the NEBOSH general certificate which is what you’ll see on many job sites (it seems to be a bit of a keyword these days). Above that is a diploma and then a degree.

Then you have the lower level safety qualifications like the construction site CSCS card system which basically says you’ve done a specific type of training. Also you’ll be able to find a transport orientated course in your local area which would cover securing a load etc.

I’ve put my CV on a few job sites but tbh they’re mostly all the same. They definitely use software to pick out the keywords, so but some measure it doesn’t matter what you write between those keywords. However, if you’re going to the trouble of doing a covering letter it’s worth talking about what you’ve done and what you want so that when someone does read it they’ll be able to decipher the main CV.

If you need to chat, let me know as I’ve done every professional H&S qualification going :p
