H50 is this a crack or a seam ?

I have just started to construct my first self build and wanted to check if my Corsair H50 has been cracked or is this a seam in the plastic.

The crack/seam is on the outer housing and runs vertically from exactly between the tubes to the base of the outer housing

I am really surprised if thats normal, I just previously opened the corsair HX 850 power supply an was blown away by the quality of everything so the H50 must be made by another factory with much lower standards of finish

Don't see how that detracts from the look of the cooler.
But yes, it's meant to be like that.

Once it's in place you won't notice it.

Its a line/seam where it will probably be pressed in manufacture, it would be pretty dam hard to create a unit similar with the outer shell being 1 shape/piece.
