They are good for your own personal experiments but that's about it.
I'm not trying to be harsh but they don't really do anything for me. However, I'm sure they have been useful to you so they are not without merit. I realise they are just indoor experiments while you wait to get outside but I'm going to C+C them as I would any photo.
Were they taken with the kit lens? I only ask because I noticed they were all taken at f/5.6. These kind of shots really benefit from the effects you can achieve with the wider aperture you get from a lens like the 50mm f/1.8.
In the first shot you have most of the main subject in focus which is great, but the deep DOF brings the foreground into focus as well. For me this detracts from the image because it's taking the eye away from the watch. I'm not too keep on the shadow behind the watch either but I appreciate that you're not shooting in a lightbox or studio so full control over your light sources is going to be difficult. I do like the OOF background in this image, nice bookeh if it is the kit lens (unless you've gaussian blurred it yourself).
Second image: The over exposed glare (bottom left) really draws they eye away from the rest of the image and it doesn't help that the surrounding area is OOF. It draws the eye to the least interesting bit of the photo. The background in this one (and the last one) is far too busy. It really detracts from the main subject matter. Try re-shooting these but with a black or white backdrop.
There's not a lot more I can say about the third one. The subject is far less interesting than the other two. The last 'n' in Nikon is OOF, if it had been in focus like the rest of the word then it would have maybe highlighted the brand.
I think the composition of the last 2 is better than the first. The close crop makes the differentiation between foreground and background more apparent. It's just the background in those two is too hectic, whereas it's a very nice gradient in the first one.
If you're interested in this type of product photography then a Nifty Fifty and a lightbox should really be on your shopping list. However, I appreciate that these were experiments.
