has anyone ordered a game from CDWOW before ?

becuse my GOD OF WAR collection was shipped/dispatched on the 5th
and its still not arrived yet.

its bloody rediculess.

I have emailed them and asked for tracking information and they say they sent it without tracking, wont order from this shop again and i advise anyone else to not either.

About as ridiculous as your spelling? :p

Royal Mail is most likely to blame here, I had a package sent to me first class on Wednesday last week, I didn't get it until Tuesday, that's 6 days for something that should have taken 1. Second class postage has apparently taken an even bigger hit. Every time i've ordered from CDWOW in the past they've been good.

I'd hold fire, you can be looking at delivery times of up to 2 weeks from sites like cdwow, plus the weather has slowed the mail process down, so it could end up being even longer than that.

Streeteh i will be on my best grammer next time i post on OCUK blah *sarcastic Laugh*

well guys i guess i can wait a little longer before throwing the dummy out the pram lol

I'm not sure if you have noticed, but the United Kingdom has been covered in snow the past week or so.

Postmen, dust bin men and anyone else who feels like it took the day off!

Someone I used to work with took the day off yesterday because of traffic.

We had someone who lives 3/4's of a mile away from site call in saying they were snowed in! The couldn't be bothered to walk over the snow! Yet me and my car share got in from over 20 miles away in even worse conditions on the country road... Stupid people :(

I think Royal Mail are just screwed. I ordered a game from somewhere where the main despatch office is in Basingstoke and I just happen to live in Basingstoke so the package should never have even left the town. It still took over a week to turn up though.

Wouldnt be too hasty blaming CDWOW, i used a site that normally gets you day one releases early. My copy of NGS2 took 13 days from when they sent it to arrive, that was before any postal strikes/bad weather etc so it can happen from time to time.

It's ridicolus. Watching the news last night, someone was complaining that they couldn't get to work because they were snowed in and they couldn't get their car off the drive.

BBC managed to get their TV van down the road, if you can't drive, WALK!

Overpriced store, they used to be great but gone too expensive now.

but from when I ordered with them I didn't have any problem, just e-mail them and say your item has not arrived (they might ask you to wait 30 days from shipping date) and have it re-shipped.

If you use Nectar points to get games/BDs then they use CDWOW. The last one I ordered came from Hong Kong via Switzerland and took a good three weeks from date of ordering.

CDWOW are dreadfully slow. Other half's christmas present was ordered on 5th December, shipped on the 6th December, arrived on...

8th January...

Merry chuffing Christmas...

It's stupid mate, i should've had a package turn up bloody ages ago but Royal Mail are just being plain **** blaming everything on the snow, for gods sake!like you said it's not that bad.

Just lol at the ironings :D

Royal Fail are the pits are the moment. My good lady wife ordered a load of stuff from Amazon on the 2nd of January. She's still waiting.

She requested them delivered to my work (too large for letterbox, and always someone available to receive them), and we've only had post one day this week.

To sum up : Royal Mail are showing their apparent uselessness again.
