Haiti 360

On a non-Haiti related note, how do they make a 360 like that?? I kinda figured that Google Street View is similar, but this is a video.
 
I'm sure some basic programming (my guess, i am not a programmer) would allow you to do it Doohickey. Just have continuous frames of those wierd 4d images (shown in yellow below) and allow you to look around that image with the relevant image(or video) transformations.

Did anyone think "What, they've released the console game already?" when they read the thread title, or was it just me...?

First time I've seen this kind of thing, very awesome! Gives you an idea of where video cameras may be heading in the future.
 
I thought that film was amazing and shows how technology has come on.
To be able to drive past somebody and then turn around and watch them walking away - wow.
Not long before somebody makes a straight to DVD movie that the user controls the angle.
 
The destruction does not seem that bad at all, looks like a typical african country..
seem to be making a big fuss about nothing,
leave them to it i say. survival of the fittest and all that.
use the money saved in aid to build more business's in the uk to
curb unemployment.
 
Does anyone notice the person with his hand out of the window on the left side of the car with what looks to be holding a mobile phone??

and the damage is probably worse in some areas, not so bad in others, and yer the driver is a bit crazy, dont think the police are around tho lol!
