halflife counter-strike beta 2 to 6.5 (1999-2000)

hey peeps im on a retro tip. trying to locate the original CS beta installer files.

so far i have cs beta 1, and beta 5.2

im after beta 2, 3, 4 & 6.5

if someone has these laying on a hard drive somewhere and could burn me off a disc ill pay for all associated postage and more...

thanks man, that had a couple of the required halflife patches.

ive managed to find a german FTP and got all the CS betas, currently nearly finished all the HL patches aswell.

im thinking about organising a lan party for cs beta 5.2 so old hats can rinse out some of the original CS...

Oooh, that brings back memories of LAN gaming at school. Beta 6.5 was the best thing since sliced bread as far as we were concerned! CS Source is just as good with better graphics though, so I don't think I'll be moving back any time soon!

hear where you're coming from tom.

i was in my first year of college about 17 when beta 5 was doing the rounds. we used to cain that hard and goto lan parties all sorts.

when i got to 18 the new vers came out and werent a patch (IMO) on the older ones, gave up gaming in 2000 and never went back :eek:
