No problem. My fault for missing the opportunity. I'll see what card deals happen and react accordingly! May just get a 2080ti for myself and give him mine

* Edit: no go on the 2080ti the 20-25% fps upgrade is too hard to swallow for near twice the same price I paid for the original 1080ti. TV + RDR2 for me this year.

Yes on Intel platform, Asus Gene is best mainboard, of course you need a high-end CPU with a very good IMC. 8 Pack has a few 9900K running as high as 4900MHz C18 in Asus Gene with 8 Pack Xtreem memory.

But yes any memory that can do over 4600MHz is very limited, as is CPU's and motherboards which can do it. Which is why commercially the fastest memory we sell is 4500 and 4600MHz from 8 Pack and G.Skill as both use screened B die.

Only 8 Pack (TeamGroup) and G.Skill can offer memory of this quality as only those two manufacturers have excess to the screened B die.
