Shamelessly ripped from the Halo 2 matchmaking thread title by MC Kronologic himself.

This thread is for listing your gamertag for Halo 3 Beta parties. They have included the party system so we should all be able to find each other and own noobs.

As far as i am aware, the beta will go live at 8.00am BST, despite what the bungie website says. Their FAQ contradicts their website clock.

I don't Care if Gord got in first his thread should be closed for wasting an opportunity.

So who is up for some Halo 3 Beta Action tomorrow,

I'm assuming that there will be loads of you so we might want to sort out groups of 4 and 8 (for those that want casual gaming and those that want to match make and pwn noobs)

Matchmaking only afaik. No custom, only way you can play in groups is by setting up a group with people you've just played a game with.

Pretty sure the majority of the videos were custom games weren't they?

Unless you can do matchmaking via LAN :confused:

erm.. daft question.....
i bought crackdown and signed up for the halo3 beta, thing is a mate from work is borrowing crackdown at the moment. do i need the disc back to be able to play halo3 or will it be an automatic download via the marketplace?

You need to have Crackdown to start the download I think, not sure if you need it after that.

I doubt I will buy Crackdown again unless I can deffo play guys from here, its much fun that way.

From what I have heard from some people playing the Friends and family early Beta bonanza:

You can create parties from your friends list

Parties of 4 or less can go into matchmaking against other players

Parties of 5 or more must go into Team Training and either play against themselves or other players (depending on the numbers).
