Would Renault let Kimi go - and would Kimi go back to McLaren?

I cant see the former happening (without a big payout), and given the performance of the two cars the latter isnt as definite as it might have been a year or so ago

I've just been talking to someone at work who has friends that frequent the Rossetti in Brackley (I've not been in there even though the folks live 100 meters from it) and they said they overheard a conversation with RB and some other chap talking over lunch (today) that Lewis will be joining them next season.

first of all im not convinced

secondly you need to remember that F1 is having a MASSIVE overhaul in terms of tech regulations in the coming seasons, just because mercedes may not be doing that well at the moment doesn't mean they won't adapt well to the forthcoming regulations.

I'd like diresta at mclaren but paired with Jenson I'm not sure the team would be strong enough. Both likeable guys but not sure it's a great team going forward.

This is literally the only bargaining chip Lewis has left. I'd be surprised if this happens and gutted that it isn't red bull. I don't think it's a good career move.

And does not mean they will do well either :)
