So the HomePod now supports other music apps such as YouTube Music as the default music app. This means you can ask the HomePod to play a song and it will play from YouTube Music.
Does anyone know if you can Hand Off the music from your iPhone to the HomePod using YouTube Music and then close the app on your phone (or turn off your phone) and have it continue playing on the HomePod, like it does with Apple Music?
I’ve gone to the settings in YouTube Music and linked my account with the HomePod and tried the above, but every time I close the app it stops playing on the HomePod. I try with Apple Music and it works fine.
Just checking I’m not doing anything wrong - or is this feature still not supported on HomePod?
