Hand sanitizers... Pointless or Not?

Pointless, stupid and does you harm. You must have a weakened immune system. These germs are not going to do you any harm. Also you must be helping speed up evolution and creating chemical resistant species?

I wish i'd used one of these after going to the local walk in centre.

Went in fine (with my son who had an ear infection)

came out with a cold

Somebody had blatently wiped their snotty hand on one of the door handles.

So around hospitals / doctors etc.. they are very usefull. I always make a point of using them now whenever i go to stop me getting other peoples germs

around the home ?

Couldn't that have mainly been down to people coughing and you breathing it in?

waiting room was empty

we walked straight in. My son didnt touch the doors as i opened them for him.

Nobody else at work / home / son's school got it. So its the only place i can think it came from. And i got it in the middle of summer too !
