Happy bulldozer owners?????????

av_fps="75.419022" min_fps="58.556225" samples="3804 xml from dirt showdown benchmark on high settings. this thread is now well off topic and am happy with the result of opening post. yes there are happy bulldozer owners whom achieve real world performance on very good gaming rigs across a multitude of gaming platforms and I appreciate the input of those that took the time to be constructive. thanks

regards temps I max out at 36c socket/cpu playing bf3 which is using hw monitor. temps on that read exactly as mobo for socket. midi case 6x120 fans 2 attached to antec 620 in push pull. regards pricing yes the chips a similar give or take a few quid but not when trying to buy an equivalent mobo with similar performance. intel socket boards bump the price of the package. and for reference the thread was about happy bulldozer owners. other posters made it into a fx vs sb/ib thread yet again.

intel burn test 10 passes standard 10 passes high. core temp max according to hw monitor and core temp 38c max socket temp/cpu temp 56c. adequate temps across all ranges at 100%load. the most pressure I put on my system in daily use is gaming and the temps are considerably less than that as stated before. I have no issues with this chip running hot at load or gaming. I may be lucky, I don't know. can only confirm what is relative to my system not the platform across the board

the final post I will make on reference to this discussion is that the intel owners knowledge and experience is obviously vast. I just struggle with the fact two points are constantly missed. 1, is consumer choice. 2, is performance of anything is relative to the user. blanket statements do not apply to all users.

Discussion? I thought you were talking to yourself, there's no discussion to be had here.
EDIT : Although I do agree it's the consumers choice, on the flipside it's the consumers responsibility to vote with their wallets by not buying the rubbish that companies can release and to act on a balanced view point (I'd say the same to anyone who buys IB, while yes, it's good, Intel with their IHS lark would have IB as a none purchase for me, because I vote with my wallet)
