Same here. I've grown old but I still want to go out. My friends have also grown old and want to stay in.

When I do visit a pub I don't sit there doing noting. I usually bring one of my tablets (which keyboard) with me and have something to do like a bit of photo editing, gaming or writing.
But you try music creation in a criwded bar or pub without headphones
It's better than being sat there on your own and not doing anything.

So home with snacks and various nibbles, watched the Technical Difficulties on Youtube, then Red Notice on Netflix and a bit of gaming on the Wii.
