Hard drive enclosure type thing that will hold at least 4 hard drives with raid?

Am after sonething under £100 that I can plug in to my PC and will take 4 or more hard drives and offers some saftey net like raid.... Drobo is to much money

Any ideas?

Startech do a 4-bay USB2/eSATA enclosure - USB2 won't be fast, and to use eSATA apparently needs a port-multiplying eSATA port. Edgestore also used to do some similar 5 or 8 bay DAS units. None of these will do hardware RAID though.

There ain't anything else out there that can do the job as securely as a Drobo, it depends how valuable your data is.
