Hi guys
ok so I got a couple of donor boards.
swapped the bios chip to the new PCB.
The problem is the hard drive boots up for about 10 seconds and then shuts down.
I used the seagate software and that detects the hard drive, however disk management does not. Doesn’t show up in windows.
my last option seems to be to open up the drive, and try fix it before any dust gets in.
All the files on the drive are encryted and locked, not sure if that would affect getting it done professionally?
