and now for what wouldve been my favourite shot, if for some reason my 20D hadnt decided to under expose it, and only it....the only shot that wasnt exposed well the ENTIRE night and it's possibly the most exclusive capture ive ever made

quick recovery job and its not TOO bad, but ill give it a few hours tomorrow. And yes, he did just jump over the referee

Way ahead of you fella, i was using partial metering. As I said, that was the only shot that in the whole game where it was significantly badly exposed.

As for the getting the floor on, unfortunately i dont have a 2nd body or a fast wide angle lens. I'd love to be able to set up a remote camera underneath the basket that triggers whenever i shoot with the main, but alas, funds do not permit
