Got a trail pack of Harman professional glossy FBAI today, and to say the least i am not pleased.
I used it on a IP3500 and the blacks look awful. Initially i thought it was my printer. So i checked all my profiles and print settings, but nothing seem to work.
The whole print was to contrasty as if it had a massive white haze over the print.
I accidently got water on it and the blacks came out, so i ran a print under the tap and it looked crystal clear.
Having looked over the net this paper is recommended highly as being one of the best on the market so i dont know what is wrong with this paper, or myself in this case. It's as if it's absorbing the ink to heavily, who knows but i would not recommend buying it.

I use this paper and produces rather fantastic images all things being equal.. :)

So apart from downloading a profile from Harman that might be a close match to your IP3500 have you checked that you are printing on the right side of the paper? That would cause a horrible mess. I've seen it done numerous times and accidentally did it myself once. :D

Are you using the right paper profile (Ie have you used one specific to the Harman paper your using?)?

Yeah il retract the harman paper problem.

They dont have a specific driver for my printer which i have accepted could have caused some nasty problems. I seems to have discovered that my printer is playing up, and i have yet to find the cause.
I have reinstalled all drivers to no avail.
A ink test works fine but all prints are wishy washy and seems to be lacking any punch, as if the black is not printing over the colour. It prints text fine.
I thinkt he black has partial dryied out or something as even with pict bridge its does the same. :(

God knows whats wrong with it.
