I use the 885 and its great. It controls everything from my homecinema to the lights and blinds.

Im looking at getting a Logitech Harmony 300i ,mainly for my tv,sky HD and home theater kit

will the 300i be ok for this ? i dont really wanna spend more than the 30quid it will cost on a remote

Harmony 555 owner here. Basic, but does the job nicely. Although since upgrading all my AV in my living room I'm yet to get it working perfectly, just need to spend some time with it.

+1 for Harmony One.

Best investment Ive made this year! It just works. Its that simple. The wizard is great. I have it setup with three simple touch screen buttons;

PLAY A GAME - Turns PS3 on, switches Bose 2.1 to correct input, turns TV to correct AV
WATCH TV - Turns Bose to correct input, puts TV on freesat HD, turns of anything else
LISTEN TO RADIO - Turns everything off, barring the Bose which goes to FM Tuner mode

I now have a Harmony One in addition to my old 525, love the flexability of the touch screen and general feel of the controller.

Yeah it will be fine, but without the screen you may lose some of the more advanced functionality of your AV remote. If your V system / reciever displays all its menu's on sreen then you have no issue

so i ended up buying a 600 today,im really impressed with it and so far ive only hit one hurdle,ive set up some fav channels for sky hd but i cant find which button on the remote activates the LED screen for the favs list ?
