it was a grey sky and a bit rainy today, but i decided to go to Harpers Ferry Nation Park instead of playing guildwars.

OOOOOO, love that second one. I really like the blurred water against the sharp trees. I like the way you have used the object in the distance as the focal point of the image. next time however try one using thirds rule, using the water line as the upper third boundary, still using the same object in the middleI I recon that could have worked better, as it will also give you that little bit of extra forground (sp? ) interest with the rocks / water edge.
