Has anyone actually seen an E46 saloon with fold down rear seats?

I don't have any my car, but someone told me that they could be specified as an option. Have seen another 4 cars now and still no sign of fold down rear seats

Anyone able to shed some light on this?

They're in the coupe as standard and apparently(??) optional on the saloon but can't seem to locate any actual saloons with that option.

Do people think its worth me continuing to trawl for E46 saloons with fold down seats (would be useful to have the extra practicality), or do people generally think that it's a lost cause?

Have come up with absolute nada so far....I've yet to see even a picture of a E46 saloon with fold down seats...

why do you want one?
boot access is rather crap anyway, so why not just get a bigger hatchback (octy / mondeo)?

Aye, the rear aches also intrude. But its just for the occasional added convenience really. For example, I bought a small shelving unit from Ikea not that long ago, and couldn't get it into the car no matter how I tried. Would much prefer another E46 - I think its a great car - but would consider A4s/Mondeos if all else fails (or if fold down E46s turn out to be as rare as hen's teeth)

if you want practicality, get the touring?

Thanks for the suggestion, but an estate car? Meh! Have considered the coupe but whatever extra practicality is provided by the fold down rear seats, is taken away by the lack of rear doors.
