has anyone bought a New TV recently?

yes I think we missed the boat lg do not seem to have a 1080p oled successor to the albeit curved 2015 eg910v, I guess more money to be made consecrating production to 4k. The 1080p upscale of sd might have looked better.
I would like to audition an oled with some high speed sport (motor racing or maybe football ) to see how the motion looks compared to led, the motion handling with the 400hz+ scanning backlight/black screen insertion in led was definitely an improvement for sport and hope that is sustained with oled
(need a thread on 4k audition samples to take along on a usb)
 
The quality of the picture on the 55B6 though is pretty amazing. This is one from Netflix's Marco Polo in 4k. The phone camera doesn't truly do it justice I feel :)

Recently got an LG55ef950v OLED and Sony CT790 sound bar for £1200 - ex display models from a big chain shop who were relocating.

Went in to look at regular LED screens knowing the OLED were above my budget but could not resist this! :)
