If so, did they send you a proof of no claims?
My brother has 3 years NCB on a bike, and typically this can't be transferred to a car for some stupid reason, but I noticed with swiftcover that they accept it, and so he switched a saved a bundle. Trouble is, his car is playing up, and he wants to try and limit his exposure to unexpected repair costs. He's got an Astra 1.8 CDX at the moment, and is weighing up a number of options, and I noticed the 2.2 Astra SRI dosen't seem to command a massive premium over the 1.8, which got him thinking, but swiftcover won't cover him on it.
If he cancelled his swiftcover policy, would he get a proof of NCB letter from them, which could then be used to apply his 3 years NCB to another insurer?
