Has anyone had any success with LG bootloop outside of warranty?

What a crazy week, both me and my wife have had our LG G4's bootloop within a week of each other. Both of ours intermittently turn on once in a few days so I'm unable to backup data or try LGUP to power down the cores.

We both purchased ours from ebay in Nov 2015. Mine was from eglobal central (HK seller) hers was an EU seller.

She'll may get covered under her 2 years EU warranty but do I have any luck?

Anyone have any insights/experiences o share?

Better to look phone now, eglobal only offer 1 year cover for mobile phone and check the model number of your G4 because likely they are HK version (H815T) which only have 1 year LG cover.

Both G4/V10 are well known to bootloop issue, I know LG in HK will charge (around £100) for bootloop repair if the phone is out of warranty.

I was asked by LG to submit our receipts and give it a try anyway. Lets see how it pans out.

Any joy OP on this - The Mrs phone has gone 3 months out of warranty!
