Just ordered one (without the arms) for £526 inc VAT + delivery. John Lewis seem to think they should be ~£850.

I really need a reliable, comfortable chair, for long gaming sessions, and my last 2 chairs just fell to pieces within 2 years.

Have I wasted my money, or is this chair really worth it?

Shouldn't you have asked this question before buying?! :)

I've heard about them, they seem to have a good reputation. Ideally would want something similar myself but it's so pricey...

Probably, impulse buy as the back of my chair sort of fell off during a BF3 session last night, and every now and then the gas leaks and I keep inching towards the floor in a firefight :o

Anyway the DSA will save me if I've made the wrong choice (Or my wife chases me round the house with a carving knife).

Looks a little expensive and cheaply made

I recently got a new chair from Stable, its was £180, covered in leather, with arm rests and it reclines.

Perfect

My last chair was from staples at around that price, leaking gas and the back is falling off. It was good for a while. Of course I may just be unlucky.

nice looking chair - fairly expensive mind you - ebay seller has them for £199!! (no sure about authenticity mind u!) 100% ratings.

I've had a few chairs, the best being the current, IKEA Marcus chair. Seems quite a popular choice on these forums too :)

I've used those and the Aeron, both very good very comfortable chairs, I'd use one myself but they are too big for my workspace. As long as it's an original it should last you years.

I've used a cheap chair from a 2 piece suite as my gaming chair for the last ... christ - 5 years now :O
Perfectly comfortable, and built to last - without the insane prices office/gaming chairs.

Currently on a £100 one from staples at the moment, got to admit its taking a battery as they all do, but holding up well. Had it for about a year now and the only problem is the arm rest material has gone in places.
Somewere much produce a good chair for a reasonable price

I dont have this one but I have a Herman Miller Aeron and its the best thing I ever bought for my office. Comfortable, adjustable all over the place. Brilliant.

Never get one of those fat leather chairs for office work, they are uncomfortable for long working/gaming sessions.
