Just found something I wanted to download, unfornatly hosted on rapidshare... and got this message...

Get your own Premium-account now! Instant download-access! (Or wait 2 minutes)

am now thinking about signing up for a one month subscription simply to download something :/

Anyone else done this?

There is a download limit, you can't wait 2 minutes and then get the file... I've apparently downloaded too much data

NTL? NTL users have problems with the way they get the IP addresses or something, it happens to me all the time.

Nice, I wasnt expecting this proxy I found on google to work... but it has

Let's hope rapidshare is fast, because I also found a torrent of what I wanted (which will take forever though)

The proxy was only good for the first file of 4 :/

I couldnt find any other proxy to do it...

so i started messaing people on my MSN account who are good at computers,

A guy I know at Uni randomly HAS a rapidshare account which expires tuesday, so he gave me the login

I know what you quoted said wait 2 minutes, but i'm 99% certain you wait an hour and the download limit gets reset. :confused:

I always get a download error for some reason. Says my session expired, doesn't work in either IE or FF :confused:

Every so often they give out 48hour accounts which expire after 5GB download.

All that stuff is because it counts certain ISPs and even certain countries (I think in some cases) as one user
