Just wondering if anyone uses this and what sort of settings it has on the interface when logged in. Isit a BT router having been linked with EE for the last few years?
I’d be gobsmacked if it’s not EE branded Huawei kit. If you want the best 4G, most configurable, router on the market at the moment, it’s the Mikrotik Chateau.
@WJA96 I've been reading up on this router and it says it has stronger signal gain in countryside's. That's the main thing for me here. Do you think it's much better than the Huawei B535 in terms of finding a stronger signal?
No, but it adds 4 signals together instead if 2. So if the B535 got you 70Mbps the Chateau should get you something close to double that. That assumes that your cell tower has enough signal capacity to let you have 4 streams and that your ISP supports carrier aggregation. The only way you'd know is to try it and see.
