Has your car ever been on TV?

Hi, ½ question and ½ a plug. Has your car ever been on TV or a released video either as a feature or a passing glimpse and for what reason?

Also if you receive Men and Motors you might see a short piece on my car with the Used Car Roadshow doing a feature on alarm systems and affordable student cars :cool:

It will be broadcast tomorrow and every day that week as a typical ‘filler’ program.

They pitted it against what I personally thought was a hopeless pair of other car choices considering they had the student in mind. A Smartcar Pure and an old Beetle 1300 :confused:

, hell I’d even say a Modeo would have fitted into that random lineup!

My girlfriends old Clio 16V was on TV (after she sold it)

Lowe or Doll will have more details, I'm sure one of them will be around soon enough.

My '77 Olds Cutlass was used as an extra in a "21 Jump Street" episode....

And my little Chevy L.U.V pickup truck was in some of the news footage of the San Francisco earthquake.

My mate was on the local news leaving work, drifting for the camera. They showed it too, and all you could hear was the engine tearing away.

Was funny at the time....

My VX220 was driving on track and in the background for a few shots in an episode of Fifth Gear.
