I'm very close to purchasing this tv card. I was just wondering though if anyone uses a tv card like this with an indoor ariel? If so what is the reception like? I know the picture quality will always be better with a rooftop ariel but it's not really gonna be possible.

Can anyone suggest a good quality indoor ariel to use with this card?
 
It's a very good card, but you might have problems finding someone using it with an indoor aerial. The only problems I have with it are the aerial-in only (so not camcorder friendly) and it won't find E4 for me (although it will find E4+1).
 
Have the same problem with E4 - have E4+1, just not the normal E4, using MCE 2005. Although, I loaded up Media Portal to test it out and E4 works on that one, along with the radio stations, just don't like the guide system, so back to MCE.

Haven't tested it with an indoor aerial sorry.
 
Has MCE also been losing guide listings for you of recent? I think they keep changing the name of the individual channels in the guide info (like ITV1->ITV1 West).

Sorry for slight derail...think it's probably an MCE problem rather than a T-500 problem.
 
Yes, it loses the ITV1 / ITV2 / ITV3 / ITV4 listings. It doesn't change regions, just doesn't list them, have to re-assign every now and then.

Yeah sorry for taking it slightly off topic, I would test with an indoor aerial, but the only one I have is analogue.
