Have a 3060 - worth getting 3060Ti

Currently game at 3440 x 1440 and have an EVGA 3060. Is it worth getting a 3060Ti? Probably cost me around £150 after selling the 3060.

It’s a pretty decent upgrade from a 3060 to be fair, especially at that resolution.

For the hassle of selling it, I wouldn't, but if you're struggling to get playable frame rates and a little bit more performance would do it ...

It depends what games you play. Switch on the fps counter in the games you play or use something like MSI afterburner to monitor fps. Plus you can always lower game settings to increase fps. If the games you play run smoothly on the 3060 then you don't need to upgrade

I upgraded from a 3060, I game at 1440p
And the 3060 does struggle in some games ,
Although I'm pretty maxed out playing Death stranding and get 60fps other games like rdr2 and control and Doom eternal I had to turn settings down, I think the ti is the sweet spot for 1440p gaming

At that resolution you ideally want 3070ti or 3080. Especially if it's a high FPS monitor.

If it's 60hz then a 3060ti should be fine.
