Am looking for an AV amp but only have about £250 to spend (Excluding Speakers).
Need the following features:
HDMI Inputs
SPDIF/COAX Audio inputs
S-VIdeo Input / Output
Composite Input / Output
Component Input / Output
Is it possible to downscale a Component Input so it can be viewed on SVideo/Composite untill I get an Hi-Def TV? I would have thought a Component signal downscaled to S-Video would look a lot better than a standard composite signal?
Im reluctant to buy an amp without HDMI as although I dont have Hi-Def yet, will have one sooner or later and the HDMI outputs on the newer VGA cards look great.
