Have i been caught speeding ??

So i have just got home from uni and coming down the M5 (southbound) and i think it was not far before worcester i was keeping up with the one/two cars in front when i looked up to an over pass to notice a flash (looked like a flash from a normal digital camera). I couldn't see any markings on the car that was parked there but i think the guy was wearing a hi vis vest (my friend said he didnt see it) and a tri-pod but i didnt have time to try and spot what was on it.
Random guy taking photos (hoping for) or speeding fine for me ?

Difficult to say

the bloke in a high vis vest with a camera on a tripod on a gantry points towards a mobile speed camera

But these dont flash.

Was the camera on the tripod and the person in a high vis jacket a figment of your imagination and paranoia ? or are you 100 % sure you saw them ? because these mobile cameras dont flash, they work with a lasergun and a video camera which they use to record your plate. They dont need a photo.

Was the sun behind you at the time?
He might have reflected the sun down at you for a brief second with the lens

100% sure i saw a tripod, pretty damn sure he was wearing a high vis but my mate said he didnt see it...

no sunshine as it was around 9:30/9:45pm, was a camera flash for sure
