I'm finally in a position to upgrade my venerable X1800GTO (and pass it onto my dad) but I remember seeing last week something in the tech press about the ATI 3800 series prices being cut. I was just wondered if that had been 'priced in' now or should I hold out for a few days before plumping for a 3870? (and yes, I'd love to hold out for a 4870, but realistically this might not be out for another 3 months and I doubt it'll be where the 3870s are at the mo price-wise).
And no, don't try and persuade me to get an 8800!
I've got my eye on the 3870 IceQ
