Have you ever been in a fight?
Are you often in fights?
Are you the type who gets picked on when out?
Any other relevant info?

You see, I'm nearly 48 and never been in a fight and I go to some very rough pubs.

I've only been in one proper adult fight. It wasn't a very good one either.

I'd do it again though, he seriously had it coming. Something like what he did is pretty much the only thing that could make me do something like that, I think.

I'v had a few but that's when I was 14 or so, so it wasn't anything major, so I would say no. I do get some weird looks from people, I stare back at them in a cheeky way, and they look away

But I don't get picked on, it's usualy some idiot that says something to look cool, I reply and then they just walk away, most of them are the macho wanna be guys, they don't even look like they are up for a fight.

Erm... tough one. I've had to get involved when mates are in the middle of something, and yeah, as part of that I've thrown a couple of punches where appropriate, and taken a couple myself. But I've never started one, or given someone reason to start one with me (come close a couple of times).

So to answer, yes... sort of.

Only the one when I was about 17. I ran into a guy who used to bully me in school, just thought to myself "**** it" and started on him. It wasn't really a fight, two punches. Number one connected with his jaw and number two broke his nose.

I hate fighting. If someone starts on me when I'm out on the drink I usually run away. Makes me sound like a sissy but I'd rather not get a bottle in my face thanks

Haven't been in an adult fight before, last time I was about 15 or so.

Plus I don't intend on getting into any, plus too many idiots around on nights out so it's usually spent at a friends house or something else but now out on the town.

Been in lots of kid fights, but that was the result of bullying more than anything else. Only once been in an 'adult' fight, and managed to defuse that situation mainly by just focussing on defence. I was smaller (general size.. though at 6' small isn't the best description for me), faster on my feet and completely sober compared to him being big and drunk. Wasn't exactly hard to avoid punches and what have you. Kinda like that bit in spiderman but with it all taking place at a normal pace rather than spidersense slowness. Eventually the bouncers came along and dragged the guy off to go throw up in the alley way or something.

I'm a reasonable target for beligerance, after all I do look rather geeky, however I can usually defuse most situations with a joke or two.

I have had a few scraps at school, but nothing serious. Loads of joke fights and pile-ons though!

I've been in one. It was back in primary school, year 3, I think. Some kid started on me, no teachers were around, everyone was gathering (you know, coming out of bushes, off the roof, out of their mole holes), wanting to see a fight.

It was about 10 seconds long, teachers came and broke it up, neither of us got hurt.

I always get in fights, im big n ard you see I have to prove it to all that look at me!

har, I almost got destroyed by 30 people in school and a pretty teacher saved me but apart from that not really no. Its good to be able to defend yourself though, never know when it could happen.

Depends how you define fights. I worked as a doorman in Newcastle for around 4 months and most of the time when there was trouble you wouldn't really be using your fists but spent most of the time dragging/pushing people out the club. If someone was trying pull a brave heart and start on you, you would just pin him/her (dealing with women was the worst part) or grab him/her by the throat lack of air seems to fix all aggression. In all I only used my fists twice in those 4 months. As for kiddie fights I think I barely had 10 of those (one with a regional kickboxing champion wasn't too nice though).

More when I was younger, at school/high school. These days not a lot, moving out of Luton gave me a new fresh start and i'm not as violent/aggressive as before, it's just the calming atmosphere of the place I live and places I go out now. Although living in central london, clubbing at night can get rough sometimes, but i'm generally quite safe, people generally don't mess around with me because they know half the club would be on them like a sack of ****.
