Muhammad Ali.

Seems a silly question, but I thought that anyone over 15 in the civilised world would have heard of him, but a 24 year old Kiwi woman at work had never heard of him and I was astounded.

I know a fair few people in GD aren't sports lovers like me, but surely everyone has heard of "The Greatest", or am I wrong?

Yep i've heard of him lol. I probably heard of him when I was like 7 or younger.

I have heard the name, and may have known who he was at one time. But upon reading this thread I could not for the life of me think who he was or what he done. Then you mentioned sports and I was like, oh yeah.

Still had to do a google search to find out for sure. I'm 19 by the way, but I have never ever followed or took an interest in boxing.

I suppose if someone is not interested in something, names and information just go in one ear and out the other.
