Have you successfully quit smoking?

Over a month and still smoke free. Best thing I've ever done.

If you're reading this thinking about giving up, just do it. It's not as hard as others will make you believe.

7 Months smoke free now - with the help of vaping on E-cigs.

I barely use the things now but they helped me immensely for the mental aspect of having something in my hand.

I have gone weeks without using my vaporizer at all and if I dont have it I dont crave it or feel my nicotine craving for a ciggerette how I would have if I had not smoked a few days in a row.

I feel a million times healthier ^_^.

My last smoke was at 10am on June 16th 2011. No idea why it stuck in my memory so much. I switched to e-cigs and weaned myself off nicotine by reducing the strength of the juice over time, exactly as I planned. By September 2011 I was completely nicotine free. Not had a puff of anything since, and not had any cravings. :)

I couldn't recommend the e-cigs enough to anyone who smokes, whether you are considering giving up or not. You literally get to change every aspect of smoking - the flavour, the strength, the frequency at which you smoke (you're no longer restricted to a full cigarette, you can have just one puff and put it away again, for example). It's awesome. Try it, and don't be scared to try stuff that doesn't imitate cigarettes. Anything you think you enjoy about smoking is just your addiction talking.

Gave up 12 years ago, went cold turkey. Was easier than I was expecting, but then I really wanted to give up. Had one relapse 6 years ago which lasted for 3 months..was much harder to give up the second time. Been clean since

6 and a half weeks on and i have no cravings after smoking for 16 years.

Couldnt have made a better life change.

Congrats to all you guys who are still smoke free! Keep it up! :)

I still get cravings every now and then though.

You have been smoke free for 1773 days, 11 hours and 1 minute.
You have saved £ 3546 by not smoking 17730 cigarettes.

In reality its more like £1.5k saved as i smoked roll ups at ~£5-7 week.

Went cold turkey and found it bizarrely really easy, and now the smell of smoke just turns my stomach. Looking back i think i just smoked out of habit than actually needing to.
