Hay guys new Xbox 360 SKU!!

As quoted by one of the people in the forum:
"Jesus wept.... it's just in a lower level of light than the others. This forum is a magnet for people of low IQ."
It's just in the shade xD....

doesn't look like it's just down to lighting to me. Actually looks like it is a grey 36 - the lighting on everything around the consoles looks fairly even IMO.

That is what i am thinking, also it is the same in 2 pictures.

Didn't one of the prototypes have that grey/metalic colour??

Do we really need 4 xbox's to confuse the market beyond belief?

People who think it's just the light need their eyes testing, it's Grey. It wouldn't surprise me if they dropped the Core console, ALL 360's having a HDD would give developers more choice for streaming/storing content as standard.

It doesn't look like it's just lighting, and a new SKU means a significant change, or new package (as SKU's/barcodes are meant to be different for every package).

Assuming it is a new SKU then it could be a limited edition version to be released with a specific game or something similar? (much the same as the GC, Xbox and PS2 all had versions that were only available in certain bundles).

Not likely though, what are they going to do? Drop all of their core adopters for the last 18+ months that are left with a console which wont play a load of games?
It should be a case of the game should run on none HDD equipped 360's but with enhanced loading times or content where one exists not just not run at all.
Only way they are going to do it without peeing off a load of their established customer base.

Does look like a grey console to me though. Rather fetching.

I'm starting to think it could be a new sku.

Maybe an ultra cheap $199 IPTV box or there's another box with built in hd-dvd...

Notice that all 4 have hard drives?

Maybe...

The 'new' Core has a 20GB HD
The 'new' Premium has a 60GB HD
The 'new' Elite sticks with the 120GB HD

and the new 'Super Elite' has a HD-DVD drive.

And so not to p off the existing Core owners they'll drop the price on 20GB drives...

(And GTA IV will need one!)
