I'll take some snaps tomorrow and report on things compared to my 2209wa (default settings out of the box, how it compares to the horrible coating on the Dell, any dead pixels and lag compared to the dell, all subjective though).

Well, I've got my Dell 2209WA calibrated and run at 76HZ and it's brilliant.

I wouldn't call the matte coating horrible at all. Unless you mean the anti-glare that is?

Just updated descriptions as never realised they were glass fronted panels :eek:

No wonder the image quality is simply just, well WOW!

Yes, the anti glare coating. You get the crystal effect, especially on white backgrounds if you move your head around.

Just noticed the priced has increased already to £429.98 inc VAT

So when are the prices going up to the RRP of £500 (which is still a bargain for what your getting imo)?

Was going to wait for the 30" to come into stock but decided to go with a HZ27WC instead.

At half the price of the 30" its a bargain so got a elcrest ssd too and still saved nearly £200

Happy days ahead.

Just ordered mine, so should arrive on friday! Should be a nice upgrade from my lil 22" 1650x1080!!! Just hope my 5850 (albeit heavily clocked 5850) can handle it!

My C arrived but having problems putting the base on, the bolts are too tight to screw them in.

EDIT: Found a better fitting star bit and got them on but they are very tight.
