Hazro series - HZ30Wi, HZ30WiQ, HZ27WA, HZ27WB & HZ27WC

Above is helpful advice. I have one pixel that is constantly blue and what appears and what I think is a cluster that is always black. I'm not experienced in this so any helpful advice would be appreciated.

if you can't be helpful what's the point of replying?

Because he's pointing out that ignorance is bliss. If you don't consciously see any dead pixels, why make it stand out to then niggle at your from the back of your mind?

Just make sure to take your time and let the monitor switch between different patterns so you can see if they're stuck constantly or rather "flicker" or disappear sometimes. You've got 7 days till you have to start DSR process and unless you have a cluster of dead sub-pixels, you won't be able to RMA the monitor anyway.

Dirt might be the cause of that black cluster, try cleaning it up a bit.

I agree, best not to take stance that Alfie presented in the other Hazro thread (any dead pixels/sub-pixels make the screen redundant).

Consider whether you really are bothered by them and if they are going to affect your work or getting enjoyable experience from using the monitor.

The resolution is enormous and it will be hard to notice dead pixels anyway. I'm quite experienced in searching for them as I always spend some time examining new monitors but I can't say most would bother an average user.

The pixel I'll leave it's this circled thing that is annoying me, even after cleaning, still there.

That looks bad mate. Are they definitely dead pixels?

I'm going to take a picture of mine at night, might reveal some more (or less) dead sub-pixels. Nothing too annoying and you really have to look for them to find them in normal conditions.

A few quick pics - the cables still need a bit of tidying:

Strange thing - turning off the display still shows the dead pixels somehow...

Is that dirt under the glossy panel?

Still can't get it to display when BIOS is loading up :/

I have 10 of the above 'faults' randomly dotted over the screen.

Not sure if it's dead pixels or dust, but it's very obvious.

Also exhibiting the yellow tint that plagued the imac 27" users (same lg panel) to quite a large extent.

Pics to come soon.

Are you keeping the monitor or sending it back?

Could you check if the faults appear when display is turned off?

not sure if mines is dust but i definitely have more of them. All around the lower right side. Not happy. I count at least 5 areas plus a little group of them.
|I'll give it a couple more days but seriously disappointed after all that wait.

Do I need to go through OCUK? Hazro website is still not up.

Thanks

I just got mine and have just finished putting it together and conecting it to my PC.

I don't really like the stand that it comes with as it make the screen tilt down a bit.

I prefer the screen slightly tilted up.

Is there any stands that will fit this screen that will allow you tilt it up or down and move it sideways?

I haven't tested the screen for any dead or stuck pixels yet but I will be doing that just in a minute.
