Good day!

So, to the issue at hand.

I bought a WD 2TB Black WD2003FZEX, to use as a secondary storage drive.

But not matter what I do, it never shows up in disk management, not even as "Unknown" or "Unallocated". It does however show up in UEFI as being there, but says 0GB next to it, which is new to me.

I have a Seagate 500GB and a WD 2TB Green (which is similar to the new drive) on the same system, swapped the WD 2TB Black in the both the slots and still no joy, ran it on all the other available SATA connections, also no luck.

It should be noted that on boot, it powers, spin, but makes a serious of equally spaced out clicks, (could be in my head) but it's definitely more audible than my other drives.

Using Windows 10 (obviously) and a Z170-K Mobo.

Does anyone have any ideas? Or have I ran out of luck and received a bad drive. PS, I don't have a second system to try it on.

If any more information is needed, let me know, kind of at my wits end with it.
